Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey said he is hoping to get people back to work as soon as possible — or at least when it is safe to do so. In a series of tweets on April 13, Ducey said his “Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected” order will remain in effect through April 30 — and he’d like to see the economy reopened then.
Whether that date holds, though, depends on a lot of variables. The governor said he will consult with voices in a variety of industries before making that final determination.
One such voice might be Glenn Hamer, the president and CEO of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce.
The Show spoke with Hamer about the likelihood of reopening businesses by April 30.
