As everyday life and business have been halted across the country, the construction of the border wall along our southern border continues.
The Arizona Republic recently reported that environmental activists have noticed increased construction activity near sensitive public lands — even as the COVID-19 virus spreads. Now, several Democratic representatives are calling for a suspension of the construction and for the funds to be diverted to mitigating the spread of COVID-19.
U.S. Rep. Raúl Grijalva is among them, and The Show caught up with him this week to ask him why the construction is so detrimental at this time.
