COVID-19 has interrupted and temporarily canceled all sorts of gatherings — not just workplaces, stadiums and arenas, but also meetings of groups like Alcoholics Anonymous.
With social distancing being practiced and gatherings of more than 10 people being, at the very least, strongly discouraged, members of AA have had to find alternative ways of communicating.
The Show spoke to Kathi, a Trustee on the Board of AA who lives in Tucson, about why in-person meetings are so important and how the group is adapting. We are not using her last name.
