Arizona Restaurant Association President: Reopening Won't Be Easy

Steve Chucri, the president of the Arizona Restaurant Association, thinks it's possible that dining at restaurants could resume as early as next month. But he warns that transition won’t be as easy as flipping a switch.

“I think that you will see menus change. I think you will see them scale back, especially if operations are scaled back,” Chucri said.

Chucri also thinks shorter hours and changes in capacity will be part of the equation. He says the reopening needs to be dealt with thoroughly in order to avoid a second wave of infections.
