Lucia Salinas lost her job with HMSHost, a concessions company at Sky Harbor International Airport. She’d been with the company for nearly two decades.
In the month since, she was able to file for unemployment benefits, but she says it’s hardly enough to cover her insurance costs. And that’s meant she’s had to cut down even on essentials, like medications.
