Arizona grocery chain Fry's Food Stores will begin requiring workers to wear masks Monday — long after other grocery chains and retail establishments started mandating masks for their workers.
Fry's parent company, Kroger, has also extended $2 per hour bonuses for all hourly staff to May 2.

As Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen explained in a video message on Twitter, the company is releasing its lessons learned to help other retailers implement safety programs in their stores.
“A resource with recommendations and learnings, from best practices to signage and much more. We will continue to add more information to the site in the coming days and weeks ahead," he said. "Taking a holistic and thoughtful approach to safety will lead to better outcomes.”
