The University of Arizona is scheduled to hold a virtual commencement for its Spring 2020 graduates in two weeks. The ceremony comes as the university scrambles to come up with viable options for students to return to campus next fall. All spring classes were shifted online when the Tucson campus was effectively shut down in mid-March due to coronavirus.

Robert Robbins is the president of the University of Arizona. A cardiovascular surgeon by training, the former Stanford professor was CEO of the Texas Medical Center in Houston before coming to UA.

The Show spoke with him about his background and the current pandemic.
