Maricopa County Struggles To Satisfy Personal Protective Equipment Demand

Since the COVID-19 pandemic was declared, cities, states and countries have all struggled to have enough personal protective equipment — including masks and gloves.

The city of Phoenix, for example, has run into a slow supply chain that recently had it receiving less than 10% of the COVID-19 related goods it had ordered.

To learn more about the difficulty and whether it’s getting any better, The Show spoke with Robert Rowley, the director of emergency management for Maricopa County.
