How Arizona Reopening Decisions Could Affect Deaths And Job Losses

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey and the rest of the nation’s governors have been in the process of trying to balance the need to keep the public safe and healthy without sinking states into a long-term recession.

The latest incarnation of the Penn Wharton Budget Model looks at how those reopening decisions could affect COVID-19 related deaths and job losses.

The Show spoke with Kent Smetters, business economics and public policy professor at the Wharton School, to learn about how the model is measuring the pandemic's impact.
