Why The Decision Not To Raise Tuition At Arizona Universities Is A 'Bold Step'

Even as Arizona’s three in-state universities face rising costs and an expected loss in revenue, the Arizona Board of Regents voted last week not to raise tuition for most in-state students.

However, they will raise tuition for other students — including international students — as well as increase prices for other things like housing, meal plans and class fees.

Arizona Board of Regents Chair Larry Penley called it a “bold step.” The Show spoke with him to learn more.
