Over the last three weeks, The Show has heard voices of Arizonans who have lost their jobs, others whose work has been deemed essential and health care workers fighting to keep the pandemic at bay.
The final installment of this series is with a key group of people: Those who are most vulnerable to the virus.
Those living with HIV can be particularly vulnerable to a wide range of illnesses. And for many of them, living through this current pandemic mirrors living through the AIDS pandemic of the 1980s and '90s.
Glen Spencer is the executive director of Aunt Rita’s Foundation. The foundation's mission is to support those with HIV and end the disease in Arizona. He says the pandemic is changing the lives of those who are HIV positive.
