The U.S. Census Bureau has resumed ground operations in Arizonaand is looking for part-time workers. Some counties have more openings than others.
The bureau had halted their Arizona operations during the stay-at-home order, but now that it's lifted, Tammy Parise, the Partnership Coordinator for Arizona, says anyone is welcome to apply.
“We are definitely still in a recruiting phase of operations and we encourage anyone who may be looking for a part-time temporary job to apply with the Census Bureau at 2020census.gov/jobs," Parise said.
The bureau resumed operations in Maricopa County, Tucson and Flagstaff. Maricopa is divided into three sections: central, south and west.
