Glendale Helping Low-income Families With Bills, Evictions

Glendale officials expect a spike in evictions because of the coronavirus pandemic. They also expect homeowners will face a number of challenges this summer.

The city has a number of programs to help low-income families with home repairs, energy bills and evictions.

The city can help with basic needs such as air-conditioning and roof repairs. Hess says Glendale residents have been slow to take advantage of the program. The city also can help make homes more accessible for people with disabilities.
