Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich offered his office to oversee investigations of police shootings and excessive force cases as protests continued over the weekend of June 6 in downtown Phoenix. These protests were over the death of George Floyd.
This offer, however, would require a change in state law as the attorney general currently only intervenes when a local agency requests help.
The Show spoke to Brnovich to talk more about his proposal.
