Arizona Chamber Of Commerce Urges Congress To Include Child Care Relief

The Arizona Chamber of Commerce has joined with 40 other state and local chambers, as well as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in writing a letter to Congress encouraging lawmakers to include money for child care in any new coronavirus relief bill.

The business groups want Congress to provide “timely, targeted and temporary emergency assistance to licensed child care centers and homes.”

Garrick Taylor, spokesperson for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry, spoke with The Show about why this issue is so important to the chamber.
