Man Arrested On Charges Of Shooting Gun During Fashion Square Looting

Scottsdale Police have made two more arrests in connection with the looting at Fashion Square mall late last month.

Sergeant Ben Hoster says one of the men arrested, 20-year-old Utah resident Tavin Pemberton, was seen shooting a handgun into shops at the mall.

“He’s now facing 15 counts of discharging a firearm in a non-residential structure, four counts of burglary in the first degree, four counts of burglary in the third degree, and one count of rioting," Hoster said. "Detectives were able to use surveillance video and physical evidence found at the scene - shell casings, so forth, and they were able to tie it back to Mr. Pemberton."

So far, Scottsdale Police have made 36 arrests in connection with the looting.
