The Show regularly checks in with the Editorial Board of the Arizona Republic to talk about the big issues facing the state and the region — featured in columns on the newspaper’s op-ed pages.

The deadline for initiative campaigns to turn in their signatures to try and qualify for November’s ballot is less than two weeks away. At the start of the pandemic, it did not look as though many, if any, would be able to make it.

That became especially true once Gov. Doug Ducey issued his stay-at-home order, which eliminated crowds of people that could sign those petitions.

However, Arizonans may still have a few measures to vote on this fall.

The Show spoke with Phil Boas, the editorial page editor of the Republic, about it.
