Less Than 2 Weeks After Trump's Phoenix Rally, Organizers And Secret Service Agents Test Positive For Coronavirus

Less than two weeks after President Trump held a rally at a crowded church in north Phoenix, members of his campaign team who were at that rally are testing positive for COVID-19.

Members of Vice President Mike Pence’s secret service detail tested positive, too, forcing the vice president to delay and scale back his own trip to Arizona.

Kimberly Guilfoyle, a high-ranking Trump campaign official and Donald Trump Junior’s girlfriend, tested positive for COVID-19 Friday, less than two weeks after organizing the Phoenix rally.

Secret service agents assigned to both the June rally and Pence’s visit this past week have also tested positive for the virus, CNN reported. Pence was forced to postpone his visit by a day so healthy agents could be available.

During his Wednesday visit, Pence met with Gov. Ducey to discuss the federal government’s response to the pandemic in Arizona. Both Ducey and Pence wore masks and kept physical distance.
