Arizona Health Care Experts Pen Letter To Ducey, Christ Over Handling Of Coronavirus Leadership

A group of physicians and health care professionals have signed an open letter to Gov. Doug Ducey and Arizona Department of Health Services Director Dr. Cara Christ questioning their leadership during the COVID-19 crisis, and urging mandates to enforce precautionary COVID-19 measures.

The letter opens by stating, “We, as a healthcare community, have lost confidence in your leadership; we are weary, saddened, and physically and emotionally exhausted as we witness rising infection rates and unnecessary deaths.”

Dr. Christine Severance is a Phoenix-based family physician who organized the letter to state leadership. The Show spoke to her about what prompted her to write this letter.
