From bootcamps to webinars, Arizona’s third largest city offers a menu of options for Mesa businesses negatively impacted by the coronavirus.
Starting July 21, Mesa will hold seven webinars focused on marketing. Topics include public relations, social media, digital strategies and user generated content. Visit Mesa, the marketing agency that handles the city’s tourism, will manage the webinars that run through early September. Webinars are limited to 50 participants and registration is required.
Local First Arizona will conduct three 8-week boot camps for Mesa restaurants looking to improve business without spending a lot of money. Participants will learn about food service purchasing and costing, profitable menu creation, local procurement and logistics.
The first boot camp will begin July 27 and take place every Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration information is here. Other boot camps will start August 10 and August 24 with hours to be determined. Each boot camp is limited to 15 participants.
The bootcamps and marketing webinars are part of Mesa CARES Small Business Technical Assistance Program paid for using federal coronavirus relief funds. According to the city’s website, the program “is designed to focus on stabilization, recovery, and to boost the resiliency of small businesses.”
