On July 22, Gov. Doug Ducey’s executive order delaying evictions will expire. He has the option to extend it, but hasn’t given any public indication that he will do so.
Advocates are afraid a dramatic cliff is on the horizon, and the Aspen Institute estimates that more than half a million renters across Arizona could end up being evicted before the end of the year — unless government action is taken.
The Show spoke with Clair Meyer of Arizona Tenants Advocates for what she's been hearing from concerned tenants.
