Last Day To Request Ballot By Mail In Arizona Is July 24

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending early voting and voting by mail when possible to help prevent any further spread of COVID-19.

In Arizona, the last day to request a ballot-by-mail for the Aug. 4 primary is July 24.

Voters can sign up for the  Permanent Early Voting List or make a one-time request for mail-in voting. Independent registered voters will need to contact their  county recorder to request their ballot type.

Ballots must be received by election officials by 7 p.m. on Election Day. The last day to mail a ballot to ensure that it is recorded is July 29.
