Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is still reeling from the effects of COVID-19. But airport spokesperson Heather Shelbrack says traffic is slowly picking back up.
"Our passenger traffic was down nearly 93%, and we’ve risen month over month," Shelbrack said. "In June our passenger numbers showed that we were down 71%."
Cargo numbers, however, she says are actually doing better than in previous years. They're up over 9% from last June and up over 6% year over year.
