Vice President Mike Pence is planning to make another appearance in Arizona next week, the White House has announced.
The vice president plans to visit Arizona on Aug. 11.
Pence will go to Tucson first to accept the endorsement of the Arizona Association of Police, then travel to Mesa to participate in the “Latter-day Saints for Trump Coalition” event. He will return to Washington, D.C., later that evening.
This is the vice president’s second visit to Arizona this summer. The long-standing red state is considered a battleground in the upcoming presidential election.
