The Show regularly checks in with the editorial board of the Arizona Republic to talk about current issues facing the state and the region — featured in columns on the newspaper’s op-ed pages.
The Democratic National Convention opens Aug. 17 and runs through Aug. 20. It’ll be a convention unlike any other because of the pandemic, as some speakers will be at the official site in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, while many others will be in other places across the country.
In a new column, Phil Boas of the Republic wrote about how Democrats have come together strongly, but how that will likely change after Nov. 3 — if Joe Biden recaptures the White House for the party.
The Show spoke with Boas about whether he thinks the bond among Democrats will hold — at least through Election Day.
Hear live coverage of the Democratic National Convention starting at 6 p.m. through Thursday on KJZZ.
