The Arizona Coyotes are not going to win their first Stanley Cup this season. They were eliminated from the NHL’s playoff bubble last night with a 7-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche — their second consecutive loss by that blowout score.
As it was for most organizations, the start and stop feel of the season made consistent success a challenge. But the Coyotes also dealt with off-ice drama when their General Manager John Chayka decided to resign just as the bubble was getting started.
With me to help wrap all of this up is longtime Coyotes reporter Craig Morgan, now the founder of AZ Coyotes Insider.
