Korea Baseball Organization Team LG Twins To Train In Scottsdale

Scottsdale is set to host another professional baseball team during spring training, but this one isn’t moving from Florida’s Grapefruit League.

On Aug. 24, the City Council OK’d a three-year deal to lease out the minor league facilities that will soon be vacated by the San Francisco Giants to the LG Twins of the Korea Baseball Organization.

The Giants are moving to fields in Papago Park, leaving their facilities at Indian School Park — at Camelback and Hayden roads — empty.

The Show spoke about this new agreement with Chris Walsh, Scottsdale’s Parks and Recreation manager.
