Kanye West Appeals For Chance To Get On Arizona Ballots

Kanye West is still trying to run for president in Arizona. A Maricopa County judge on Thursday  blocked West from ballots, but the rapper is appealing the decision.

West’s attorneys want Arizona’s Supreme Court to hear his case. They also want the appeal to be expedited, since the deadline for printing some ballots in the state is Sept. 8.

A Maricopa County Superior Court judge ruled West could not run as an independent since the artist is registered as a Republican. West says he is running as a representative of the Birthday Party.

West has succeeded in getting his name onto ballots in 10 other states.
