'Morality': Rabbi's New Book Highlights Moral Shifts, Calls For Unity

Have we become more of a society of “me” rather than “we”? How has that affected our morality, and have those kinds of questions become increasingly highlighted because of the pandemic?

Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks wrote his latest book "Morality: Restoring the Common Good in Divided Times" before COVID-19 upended communities around the world. But the challenges of bringing people together for a common good that were present before have become even more dramatic over the past six months or so.

Rabbi Sacks spoke at a livestream event as part of a program presented by four of Arizona State University’s academic centers.

The Show talked with Rabbi Sacks about the definition of morality and whether we as individuals have adopted our own, as opposed to something more collective.
