'Like America With The Volume Turned Up' — New Podcast Looks At Changes Happening In Short Creek

The community of Short Creek, on the Arizona-Utah border, has been in its share of headlines: The arrest and subsequent conviction of Warren Jeffs, leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints; concerns over its police department; and the U.S. Justice Department successfully suing for religious discrimination.

The community is the subject of a new podcast, and the first two episodes debuted Sept. 14.

Unfinished: Short Creek” looks at the towns of Colorado City, Arizona and Hilldale, Utah, which make up Short Creek.

Sarah Ventre is co-host of the podcast, and The Show spoke with her about what she thinks listeners will get from this podcast.
