How Arizona Monsoons Can Make Migraines Worse

Millions of Americans suffer from migraine headaches on a regular basis. And summers in Arizona — at least during what we expect to be our monsoon storm period  — can be a terrible time and exacerbate the problem.

How much of an impact does weather generally have on whether or not a migraine will flare up? It actually can vary quite dramatically.

Dr. Rashmi Halker Singh is a headache specialist with the Mayo Clinic. The Show spoke with her for more about how the monsoon season can impact people neurologically.
