100 Degree Temps Continue In Phoenix, But Lows Will Drop Into The 70s

The week ahead will be warm in the Phoenix area. The National Weather Service says we can expect triple-digit highs all week — but meteorologist Austin Jamison says the low temperatures will be quite comfortable.

“We’ll generally range in the upper 70s to around 80, so not too bad, even maybe the low to mid 70s by the end of the week," Jamison said. "Climatologically, our average last day of 100 degrees is around Oct. 3, so we’ll definitely see 100 degree temperatures in October.”

In the high country, high temperatures will peak around 80 degrees, and lows will drop into the 40s.

There’s also a possibility of rain up north Monday and Tuesday.
