Tucson's True Concord Voices & Orchestra Plans Bubble Strategy As Precaution Against COVID-19

The concept of a bubble during the pandemic has been used primarily in professional sports, most successfully by the NBA and WNBA.

Players, coaches and officials have been staying on campuses in Orlando and have mostly spent time with each other in hotels and facilities that restrict coming and going off of those campuses.

Now Tucson-based musical group True Concord Voices & Orchestra is planning to try something similar.

Like most performing arts organizations, True Concord has had to cancel performances because of COVID-19. But now it’s going to try its very own bubble.

The Show spoke with Eric Holtan, True Concord’s music director, to find out how this plan got started.
