If you’ve purchased a car in Arizona recently and haven’t received a title in the mail, the Motor Vehicle Division says you’ll find it online.
“Earlier this year we began issuing only electronic titles to customers. And these electronic titles are valid, they’re legal, and they’re more secure than a paper title," said MVD spokesman Doug Pacey.
Paper titles are still available by request with a $4 fee, but the division has transitioned to an online model.
All MVD customers can activate a free AZ MVD Now account to access car titles and other documents. Two-thirds of MVD services are now available online.
