Phoenix Area Weather Will Start Out Warm, Then Cool Down Into The 90s

It will still be warm this week in the Phoenix area, with highs in the low triple digits.

But National Weather Service meteorologist Mark O’Malley says there is a little bit of relief in sight later in the week.

"High temperatures in the Phoenix area will, for the majority of the week, be above 100 degrees," O'Malley said. "However, there’s some light at the end of the tunnel, by the end of the week, finally, we’re looking for temperatures to look down only into the 90s."

Low temperatures will be pleasant, though, dropping down into the low-to-mid 60s by the end of the week.

O’Malley says triple-digit temperatures typically disappear around the middle of October.
