The deadline to respond to the 2020 Census is rapidly approaching at the end of this month. Rates have varied across the country, with some of the most dramatic differences happening in Native American communities and Indian Country.
The self-response rate on the Navajo Nation is reported to be 22%, and the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation has a self-response rate of only 17%.
