As the NFL season continues and the Pac-12 gears up to kick off an abbreviated schedule in November, high school football has been in motion since the school year began this fall.
Seth Polansky with the Arizona Interscholastic Association said despite cancellations due to positive coronavirus tests, “The amount we’re seeing are minimal at this point and they’re not impacting our postseason. So, if we stay the course, I think we’ll be OK.”
The Arizona Republic reports there have been 26 high school game cancellations this season.
Meanwhile in professional football, the Arizona Cardinals (3-2) are in Dallas to face off against the Cowboys (2-3) for Monday Night Football.
