Record Breaking Turnout? Lots Of Arizonans Have Already Turned In Their Early Ballots

Election officials Oct. 20 started counting early ballots that’ve been returned by Arizona voters — and the numbers suggest that there are already lots of them to count.

More than 900,000 ballots have been turned in so far; Democrats are leading the way on that, followed by Republicans and Independents.

George Khalaf has been tracking these numbers — he’s the president of the Valley-based firm Data Orbital. The Show spoke with him and asked for his key takeaways from the numbers so far.

The Show also spoke with Howie Fischer of Capitol Media Services for his takes on how both early voting and pandemic guidelines are unfolding.
