Arizona Attorney General Brnovich Says His Office Is Available To Help With Election Security

The Arizona attorney general is offering assistance to law enforcement agencies across the state to protect voters at polling places on Election Day.

Attorney General Mark Brnovich sent out a letter to law enforcement on Tuesday saying his office was ready to offer assistance from the Election Integrity Unit with any issues on Election Day.

Brnovich said the unit has established a statewide hotline that law enforcement agencies can call if they receive any reports of criminal activity.

The Attorney General’s Office also announced the sentencing of a Goodyear man who was convicted of a misdemeanor for videotaping within 75 feet a West Valley polling place in 2018 while wearing a holstered BB gun.

In a statement, Brnovich said “every Arizonan should be able to make their voice heard without feeling intimidated.”
