Arizonans have until 5 p.m. Friday to request a ballot by mail for the Nov. 3 general election.
This year, the CDC is recommending voting early or voting by mail if possible to limit exposure to COVID-19.
Arizona’s Secretary of State’s Office says the state has a long history of voting safely by mail and the majority of voters in the state already vote this way.
Arizona voters can request a one-time mail-in ballot or join the Permanent Early Voting List online.
Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on election night, so the Secretary of State’s office recommends getting completed ballots in the mail no later than Oct. 27. If you still have a mail-in ballot after that date, you can take it to a secure drop-box or an in-person voting location.
