The Arizona Attorney General’s Office was unable to substantiate a claim that the Maricopa County Community College District board violated state open meeting laws.
Kathleen Winn filed the complaint against her fellow board members in August. She alleged other board members violated those laws to conspire to oust her from the board.
The Attorney General’s Office could not verify her claims and closed its investigation, according to a statement released Monday by the district.
Winn filed the complaint shortly after she was accused of damaging the district’s search for a new chancellor.
The board asked for her resignation in September, but she refused.
