Immigration On The Ballot: How Trump And Biden Would Shape The Next Four Years

During the course of his administration, President Donald Trump has issued more than 400 executive orders and related actions under the umbrella of immigration policy. There are some supporters, including his advisor Stephen Miller, who pushed for more than that.

Immigration — both legal and undocumented — is one of the many issues that would be deeply affected if Joe Biden were to win today’s presidential election.

The Show spoke with Migration Policy Institute policy analyst Sarah Pierce to find out what could change with a Biden victory and what could remain the same or become even stronger when it comes to enforcement if President Trump wins a second term.

She began the conversation by considering what immigration policies Trump would prioritize over the next four years.
