Joe Biden held on to a tenuous lead over President Trump to win Arizona. He becomes the first Democrat to carry the state since Bill Clinton in 1996. Winning Arizona gives Biden an easier path to victory in the presidential election.
The Associated Press made the call late Tuesday night.

Earlier in the evening Biden told supporters he thought his campaign was in a good position moving forward but acknowledged the results may not b see e known for several days.
The former Vice President maintained a lead of several hundred thousand votes over Trump in Arizona for most of the Tuesday evening results.
Early ballots turned in Tuesday are still being processed, and the Maricopa County Elections Department said there were nearly 250,000 early ballots turned in over the weekend that still need to be counted.
