As the numbers of new COVID-19 cases continue to rise in our state in recent days, This Show is going back to some of those voices heard early on on this pandemic to find out how they are coping eight months in — and what they’re seeing on the ground today.

Dr. Kara Geren is an attending physician in the emergency department at Valleywise Health in Phoenix.

When The Show spoke with her back in April, she told us she had to change everything about her life when the pandemic hit. She even moved out of her house to keep her parents, her husband and her young children safe.

The Show spoke with her recently about that — and how her life has remained changed since the pandemic began.
