Cindy McCain, wife of late Arizona Sen. John McCain, told ABC News she would play an active role on President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team in the following months.
“I look forward to being a part and whatever way I can help in helping to fix that divide and hopefully bring people together so we can work for the good of the country and certainly work for the Biden administration,” McCain said.
McCain also said she hopes President Trump concedes sooner than later for the sake of the country and facilitates a peaceful transition process.
