Arizona has reported more than 10,000 COVID-19 cases since Friday. And the rate of tests turning up positive in our state is climbing to a level not seen since July.
Gov. Doug Ducey has not held a news conference to discuss the state’s outbreak in nearly two weeks, but he released a short video message via Twitter on Tuesday urging Arizonans to wear masks and practice social distancing.

“We’ll continue to take every action necessary to protect public health while also recognizing that all our actions have impacts on people’s lives in so many ways,” Ducey said in the two-minute message.
The governor highlighted past spending on Arizona hospitals and other actions the state has taken in response to the pandemic, but did not announce any new measures to combat the spread of the virus.
