Maricopa County Public Health Seeking Volunteers To Administer COVID-19 Vaccine When It's Available

With more than 6,400 Arizona coronavirus deaths, and counting, Maricopa County is seeking medically certified volunteers to help administer vaccines when they become available. Those qualified to volunteer must present a current license in good standing.

Other volunteers are needed as well to help with the COVID-19 response. Maricopa County Public Health’s volunteer coordinator says it has nearly a thousand volunteers so far, and about 20% are medically certified.

From Maricopa County Public Health:

The Maricopa County Department of Public Health Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is recruiting volunteers to assist with the administration of the new COVID-19 vaccine to our community and our community health partners. If you are medically certified to provide routine vaccinations (RN, MD, EMT, Paramedic, etc…) with a current license in good-standing, and would like to assist in this great community effort, please register to volunteer above.

If you have questions about volunteering or need further assistance please contact 602-506-6767 or email: [email protected].
