Gov. Ducey Acknowledges President-Elect Joe Biden's Victory In Arizona

For the first time, Gov. Doug Ducey has acknowledged Joe Biden’s win of Arizona’s 11 electoral votes.

His public acknowledgment comes three weeks after Election Day and he says any further legal challenges will go through the courts.

"Arizona’s a good government state. I trust our election system. There’s integrity in our election system. Joe Biden did win Arizona," Ducey said in a radio interview on Monday.

He had avoided discussing Biden’s victory as President Donald Trump seeks to overturn the election with  baseless claims of fraud.

Ducey has not criticized any members of his own party who continue to allege fraud in the election, including the Arizona Republican Party Chair Kelli Ward who filed a lawsuit Tuesday.
