San Francisco 49ers To Play Remaining Home Games At State Farm Stadium In Glendale

On Saturday, Santa Clara County enacted coronavirus restrictions that mandate a 14-day quarantine for anyone traveling into the area from 150 miles away, along with a ban on all contact sports. As a result, the San Francisco 49ers will need a new home to finish the 2020 season.

The 49ers will now play two home games in Arizona after new COVID-19 regulations in Santa Clara prevent them from finishing their season at Levi’s Stadium.

The 49ers were on a plane headed to their matchup against the Los Angeles Rams when players and coaches learned of the restrictions.

The Niners will host both the Buffalo Bills next Monday followed by a Dec. 13 matchup with the Washington Football Team at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.

The team said it will have information on practice arrangements later.
