How ASU's Students And Faculty Navigated The Confusion, Mixed Messages Of Fall 2020

When the fall semester began at Arizona State, there were some corners of optimism. But the continuing pandemic had many on edge, and an increasing number of students chose to take online classes from home rather than coming to campus. And the recent spike in cases — only expected to become more dramatic post-Thanksgiving — means uncertainty will continue to rule the day as the university plans ahead for next month and the spring semester.

Professors and instructors with the Community of Care Coalition expressed their concerns about what the fall semester would look like.

The Show checked in with one of the members — Jenny Brian, an honors faculty fellow with Barrett, the Honors College at ASU — for more on how she felt the semester has gone so far.
